We recommend sizing for the Mother Tucker Leggings post- pregnancy. However, if you want to have a pair “hospital bag” ready, we’d suggest ordering one size larger than your pre-pregnancy size.
Of course, every “body” is different, so sizing during pregnancy is tricky. While we can’t guarantee 100% accuracy, we can ensure you’ll be getting some Mother Tuckin’ amazing leggings!

Our Maternity Compression Tights are designed with graduated, medical grade compression to energize your legs, improve circulation, and help prevent varicose veins. The lightweight belly support provides comfort and breathability while the no-roll top keeps the tights gently in place. These are maternity tights done right.
Our Maternity Compression Tights are designed to be just that, compressive & tight! The relief they provide is ahhh, but actually getting them on can be ahhh-ful! That’s why we suggest the following steps: 1. Legs should be completely dry, remove jewelry, and be sure your nails are filed to avoid snags
2. Reach your hand into the tights and grasp the inside of the heel
3. While holding the heel, turn the tights inside out to leave a pocket for your foot
4. Place your toes in the “foot pocket” and pull up to your heel, making sure your entire foot is comfortably placed before moving up the leg
5. Grab upper layer of fabric near the middle of the foot and lift it over your foot and ankle
6. Grasp the remaining material with both hands and continue to pull over calf gently
7. Slowly slide the tights over your knees, thighs, hips, and waist.
8. Adjust as necessary, keeping in mind that the ideal fit is when the bottom of the belly seam is pulled up between your legs and rests comfortably in the groin area.
While you may break a sweat trying to get them on, we promise, the relief is worth the effort!

Belly Bandit Maternity Compression Tights use medical grade compression technology to apply extra pressure on your legs from thighs to toes. The additional pressure helps support your veins and muscles so blood keeps flowing instead of pooling in one place, which can result in painful swelling and varicose veins. Not only do these tights offer full leg compression, they also have built-in belly and arch support.
Maternity compression tights are a must-have during pregnancy. They support your entire body and help prevent and reduce a variety of pregnancy symptoms like swelling, varicose veins, and even nausea or vertigo. Less discomfort and more relief make compression tights some of the best maternity tights in our book!
You can start wearing maternity compression tights at any point during your pregnancy. You can start wearing these black maternity tights at any point during your pregnancy. Most women begin wearing them regularly towards the end of their pregnancy since this is when swelling is more common.
They can. Swelling and varicose veins are both caused by poor circulation resulting in blood collecting in one place. Blood can collect in an entire body part like your feet or even just in one vein. Compression helps keep blood moving so it’s less likely to pool and cause swelling or discomfort.
Of course! We recommend only wearing them while pregnant. These tights are specifically designed to only compress your legs and include extra maternity features like built-in belly support and a no-roll top for extra comfort.
We’ll put it this way — once you have them on, you’ll never want to take them off!
You can reference the Belly Bandit Leggings/Bottoms Size Chart to quickly compare your measurements to find your size.
Our Belly Bandit Maternity Compression Tights are constructed using a spandex-nylon blend that’s both soft and breathable. This fabric blend will easily keep you feeling fresh and comfortable all day long.

I love these tights! I have bad varicose veins from pregnancy and these help so much. I already ordered another pair! I will be wearing these throughout my pregnancy to help with the swelling/pain. I tried so many different compression leggings on Amazon and these are by far the best. They are worth the money.
Like the other reviews say, it is very difficult to put these tights on and take them off, but they really helped my achy, swollen feet hurt less. I own some other compression garments, but none as powerfully compressive as these.
I am familiar with how to properly don compression and so take care to not have any bunching or wrinkles and try to stretch it out just a little behind my knee so it doesn't bunch there as the day progresses but these are just slightly too long for my legs (possibly because I am fairly thin) but I am typically a XS (or size 0) 5'5" girl (slightly long in the body so shorter legs). At this point in my pregnancy I am probably a size 2. I have plenty of friends who are shorter than me who are also petit and I can not suggest this product to them as they don't offer a xs size. So disappointment on not offering an XS aside, for the majority of people who are within the sizes offered I do suggest this product. I suggest trying to wear compression and support before you have problems rather than after. I pull these on kinda inside out both feet first (feet are right side out) and then work them up from there. I also wash these inside out as often or more often than I wash them outside out because I don't want them to collect dead skin and I often wear this under clothes on the outside. It might seem easier to get on a larger size but if there is any bunching it is probably best to stick to your size.
I tried L and boy am I glad we did. I was a size 6 prior to pregnancy, and at 21 weeks, I am currently 38" waist and 43.5" hips (which falls under both L for hips and XL for waist measurements in the size chart). I didn't have great leverage for such a feat, so I laid down on the ground while my husband helped put them on. It was a hilarious endeavor to me, but once they were finally on, my goodness I felt comfortable and like I was being lifted. Almost lighter on my feet. This is worth the struggle for me personally, esp with all my current aches and pains (the belly, hip AND thigh area), but I'll still be investing in just socks for when I need to go simpler.
Plan on putting in some effort when you want to wear these tights, but I enjoy them in the winter and the compression definitely feels great throughout the day.
