Our Story
By women, for women
Solution-based maternity and postpartum support products.
Our start —
"Here, let me get that for you," he said, reaching for the cat litter on the top shelf. "After all—you're pregnant."
Only — she wasn't.
Lori Caden, one of the co-founders of Belly Bandit, had recently given birth, and was struggling to regain her confidence. Armed with an abundance of empathy, sisters Jodi and Kari joined her in seeking a solution to her postpartum body blues. In 2008, their research, perseverance and sisterly support resulted in the creation of Belly Bandit and the postpartum compression Belly Wraps that would revolutionize the body after baby marketplace. Doctor-recommended and mom-endorsed, the Belly Wraps modernized the ancient practice of belly binding and quickly turned Belly Bandit into a new mom must-have.
Lori’s tears spurred the creation of Belly Bandit but is was the combined passion and dedication to innovation that has led the "sister-preneurs of shapewear" on a mission to empower all women to look and feel their absolute best — before, during and after pregnancy.

Our community —
Belly Bandit is a family business, and we consider our customers (yep, you!) to be part of our family. That's why your feedback influences everything we do from our core values to product design.
Community and charitable partnerships play an important role in our business and day-to-day lives. We partner with two amazing organizations, Two Bit Circus Foundation - a STEAM education organization and Shades of Pink Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping breast cancer patients cope with the financial stress associated with their diagnosis.
You can read about our Upcycle and Charity initiatives here.
We also do a semi-annual $5,000 grant for mom-owned businesses. Learn more about the High 5 Grant. Our site is updated quarterly to reflect new entry dates.
