Authenticity, transparency, honesty, quality and fun!
What inspired you to start your business?
I started Mèreadesso about eight years ago, after becoming a mom. I quickly came to the realization that I no longer had time to stand in front of the mirror and fuss with my skin care products — never mind take a shower — so I decided to simplify things.
When did you know you, “made it?”
When I first saw my product line on the Nordstrom shelves.
Who is your mentor?
All of the great people that guided my career at Mary Kay, MAC and Estee Lauder. Also my parents, who left everything behind in Austria to start a new life in Canada.
What's your #1 tip for moms interested in starting their own business
Hire a great patent and trademark lawyer and get your name/product trademarked ASAP.
What does “me” time mean to you?
Having 3 hours to cook a fabulous meal for family and friends uninterrupted listening to my favorite music.
What‘s on your bedside table?
My Mèreadesso Lip Balm, a cup of mint tea and tons of books!
