This week we're thrilled to be featuring Alina Sack, founder of ergoPouch! Alina was inspired to start the company when her first son had difficulty sleeping. Desperate to help him and the entire family get a better night's sleep, Alina got out her sewing machine and designed the very first ergoPouch sleeping bag. It worked and the rest is history!

Analyze. Design. Create. Execute. Enjoy.
What inspired you to go into business?
I never intended on starting a business, however it evolved that way.
I was lucky enough to develop a sleep solution for my baby who was challenged sleeper. My inspiration was to help others with the same issues.
When did you know you, “made it?”
When other babies found better sleep too. I felt so proud when other mums gave me feedback about how the product worked which resulted in more sleep for the family. It gave me a great sense of joy and I needed to keep going and doing more of that!
Who is your mentor?
I have many mentors, husband, business friends and of course my ergoPouch team.
What's your #1 tip for moms interested in business
Don’t leave your day job. Start small, and when there is enough interest go full steam ahead with the philosophy- failure is not an option.
What does “me” time mean to you?
Work - life balance is challenging. I try going for long walks with music to reenergize and then some zen time with no interruption.
What‘s on your bedside table?
Normally business books. Never stop learning!
