How does the Belly Bandit V-Sling pelvic support band work?

During pregnancy, an increase in pelvic and vaginal pressure can put extra strain on your uterine wall. This can result in some discomfort. That’s where the Belly Bandit® V-Sling comes in. Designed to help address pelvic pain, this pelvic band may provide relief in the area you need it most.

How does the Belly Bandit V-Sling helps with pelvic pain?

The Belly Bandit® V-Sling uses flexible, lightweight straps made of high-quality neoprene to apply gentle pressure to your pelvic area, which may relieve feelings of discomfort and pressure. The straps criss-cross between the legs and connect to a wider band that sits low across the hips, just below the belly. This system helps distribute the weight of your belly.

Are pregnancy support belts safe for the baby?

We always recommend consulting with your physician before trying something new, as they may have specific directions or recommendations for you based on your individual needs and situation.

Does the v-sling pelvic support band help with back pain?

It may! Though the V-Sling’s primary purpose is as a pelvic support band, pregnancy pains are often interconnected, so it wouldn’t be unusual at all for you to get some relief by wearing the V-Sling. If you’re looking for a support band to help specifically with back pain, check out our Upsie Belly® Pregnancy Support Band.

When should you start wearing the V-Sling pelvic support band in pregnancy?

Be sure to discuss any pelvic pain with your physician before starting to wear the V-Sling.

Can you wear the V-sling while sleeping?

You can wear the V-Sling day or night for extra support.

How comfortable is the V-sling pelvic support band?

The Belly Bandit® V-Sling is lightweight and flexible with easily adjustable straps to provide maximum comfort and support.

How do I wash the V-Sling?

The best way to wash your V-Sling pelvic support band and straps is by hand. If you decide to machine wash them, make sure you use cold water. Afterwards, lay the band and straps flat to dry. Do not use bleach or iron your V-Sling.

Game changer!

This band isn’t magic, it won’t solve all your pelvic floor problems but it will help a TON! I am on partial bed rest with standing in 20-30 segments at 21 weeks.. this is allowing me to feel secure while moving and will help me get to full term!

Third tri with fourth baby and the pelvic pressure was really effecting my mood and energy. Bought this at 30 weeks and it has been great. There is definitely a difference on the days wearing this than when I don’t. Helps so much. I can be on my feet and more energy. You have to choose clothes that will accommodate it and bathroom breaks take a little longer but that’s a small effort to put in for something that makes you feel better. Definitely worth trying if you have pelvic pain/pressure or varicosities during pregnancy - give it a couple tries to get used to it and see the difference.
