Measure around your belly at the largest part, which is usually around the belly button. The calculator will generate a recommended size. If you’re unsure, size down and buy an extender to give you flexibility! See our sizing tips!
SIZE NOTE: It’s hard to predict how your belly will change after birth, especially so early in your pregnancy. Our sizing estimate is based on female averages. We recommend adding an extender to your order to make sure you get the best fit.

If you’re Belly Bandit Belly Wrap is 1-3” shy of closing, don’t exchange it for a larger size, wait a day or two and try again. Here’s another tip, lying down on your bed with the Belly Wrap under you to fasten the Velcro allows for a better trip.
Yes, creases are normal. The Belly Wrap conforms to your body, making it easier for you to move comfortably and perform your daily activities. Much like a bandage, the appearance of your wrap will change due to normal wear, so you can expect to see creases and waviness. This will not affect the job of your wrap!
For best results, we recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately postpartum 24/7 (taking it off to shower) for a minimum 6-10 weeks. Of course, wear-time ultimately depends on your personal comfort level. Some women wear the wrap all day and night while others for only a few hours at a time. The goal is to get the support you need and to aid in recovery, so do what feels right for you!
*Postpartum swelling can make sizing your Belly Wrap challenging. Our Belly Wrap Extenders gives you up to 9 inches of additional adjustability, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing a Wrap that’s too small or just shy of closing!
Choose the smaller size and add-on the Extender™ to ensure a long-lasting fit

Over a decade ago, we introduced our doctor-recommended Belly Bandit® Belly Wraps to help slim and your support your belly, waist and hips post-delivery. We were inspired by the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding and modernized this age-old practice for today's moms.
Our world famous Belly Wraps are designed to help you look and feel your absolute best after delivery – because when you deliver, so do we!
*Belly Bandit® is the premiere FDA Registered Medical Device brand in Maternity Support Products and Postpartum Belly Wraps and Corsets.
The International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics has found that abdominal binders can be an effective, simple, non‐pharmacological option of relieving pain and distress after a Cesarean delivery.
Our Power Compress Core™ applies targeted compression, which may help:
Soft viscose from bamboo is ultra-comfortable on your skin, and gentle on a recovering C-section incision
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
We recommend wearing your Belly Wrap post-delivery as soon as your comfortable, for a minimum of 6-10 weeks. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you're breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post-delivery!
For both c-section and vaginal deliveries please check with your healthcare provider for guidance based on your individual delivery especially if you’re experiencing any post-delivery or postpartum issues.
If you have any concerns about being "too late" for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features our Belly Bandit compression technology in tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

OUR BEST SELLER
Belly Bandit’s Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap modernizes the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding with a luxurious twist. Made from ultra-soft viscose from bamboo, this Belly Wrap uses our Power Compress Core™ to apply targeted compression to your belly, waist, and hips, which can promote faster healing and provide extra support to muscles weakened during pregnancy.
The Viscose from Bamboo Belly Band is made from ultra-soft viscose from bamboo. We specifically chose this fabric for our postpartum Bamboo Belly Wrap because of its softness and antimicrobial qualities. Breathable and comfortable, viscose from bamboo is gentle on sensitive skin and healing C-section incisions.
This wrap is best suited for women with sensitive skin and moms recovering from C-sections. Specifically designed with irritated and injured skin in mind, the Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap is the softest belly wrap we offer. It’s perfectly suited to give you both the support you need and the comfort you crave while recovering from pregnancy and childbirth.
The biggest difference between the Original Belly Wrap and the Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap is in the fabrication. Both wraps are 9” tall and feature targeted compression technology via Power Compress Core® material; while the Original Belly Wrap is uncovered, the Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap is covered with a layer of ultra-soft viscose made from bamboo. This material is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and smooth as butter, so moms with sensitive skin or C-section incisions can enjoy the benefits of our Belly Wrap technology without the fear of increased irritation.
You bet! In fact, it’s our softest belly wrap. The viscose from bamboo fabric is gentle on recovering skin, while the targeted compression helps you feel more secure and supported throughout the day.
You should start wearing your viscose from bamboo belly band as soon as possible post-delivery. Remember, it should feel snug, but not uncomfortable. We recommend wearing your bamboo belly band 24/7 (or for as long as it’s comfortable) for a minimum of six to 10 weeks, but feel free to wear it longer if you’d like. Some women find it beneficial to continue wearing their bamboo belly band for up to a year post-delivery!
Yes! The postpartum bamboo belly wrap has up to 9 inches of adjustability so you can continue to tighten it and keep the compression levels steady as you size down.
The Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap is not intended to help with weight loss. However, if worn during postpartum recovery, it can help slim and support your belly, waist, and hips.
The Power Compress Core® is designed to encourage better posture and help support weakened muscles in your core and lower back, which can help ease back pain.
You can easily find your wrap size by using our online calculator. To start, you’ll need to know the measurements for the largest part of your belly; this is usually around the belly button area. Simply enter this number into the belly wrap size calculator and it will tell you which size is best suited for you!
I did like this belly band more than the ones they give you at the hospital but i had to wait 5 days to be able to fit it once my belly went down some.
I’m 10 days PP now and while I do wear it, its not ideal for short torsos. I can’t sit down without it cutting into my boobs. I’m only 5ft so this is generally how it is for me but overall i do like it.
I gave birth at 225lbs and i got the L with the extender. I definitely recommend getting the extender because it wouldn’t have fit without it. I’m down to 198lbs now and I’ll probably be able to get rid of the extender by 2.5 weeks PP.
Baby girl was born on December 27th and I used the Bamboo belly wrap and extender immediately after c-section and have this is pic of me right before delivery and then 10 days postpartum. Was down to just using the wrap itself by 7 days postpartum. Helped so much with helping my recovery feeling supported and able to move around quickly after surgery. So glad to have this wrap!
Used this belly band after my c section. I brought it to the hospital and the nurses liked it so much better than the hospital one. I can’t imagine getting in and out of bed without this band for the first week. I am 5’7 142lbs pre pregnancy 170 when I delivered at 38 weeks. I got a small with the extender which works nicely. Because I wear low on my hips for incision, I could have just done a medium as I do need the extender weeks later. If I wear wearing higher, as if I had a vaginal birth, a small with extender would have been fine (using extender while swollen and then just the small). Highly recommend.
I bought this two weeks after my c section, the size guide recommended I get a size medium (I’m 5’5” and currently 170lbs) I wish I had gotten a size up, even if I lost my entire baby weight I don’t think the medium would fit comfortably, I can barely get it closed. I also have wider hips and a smaller waist and i can’t sit down without it bunching and rolling up. I want to like this because I do feel like it helps support my c section scar but I just can’t get it to fit right.
I didn’t end up wearing it a ton because I found it uncomfortable to have between my baby and I but it was great for reducing swelling in the weeks following delivery even still. I’d put it on and then the next day, have a significant reduction in fluid each time. I did use it a few times while wearing a solly wrap to support my back in the first few days and it helped that be more comfortable as well. I was right at the low end of the small size range and did wish I had sized down. Sometimes the Velcro also wants to lay funny and it can take some maneuvering to fix. Over all though, I’d recommend it- definitely didn’t hurt to have a little extra support.
