I love my belly bandit products
I am 5’4” I am 26 weeks pregnant. I ordered the mediums because my hips were measuring about 38” and I didn’t want to have to return the small. I’d say they run true to size (they are a teeny bit large in the belly, but I believe that will not be the case by the end of my pregnancy). After washing, The inseam was spot on for me. The material is thick and has more of an athletic feel to them as opposed to cotton leggings. I don’t know how much I use them this summer, but I’m really glad I have them on hand for cooler days. They are much more comfortable than my maternity jeans. I definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a thicker/athletic feel. (The belly support when you fold The top down is also really really nice.)
Overall the leggings are great. More support than regular modal or cotton leggings, but not as confining and tight as compression leggings. The crotch lies a bit low on me, and the legs are a bit long, but nothing unmanageable. However, the sewing/construction of the seams at the crotch are pretty rough and uncomfortable. I’m not sure what material was used, but it can be a little scratch/stabby at times.
I have tried all of the pregnancy leggings from the major brands. I loved these the best. Blanqi leggings fell apart on me, Hatch were super cozy but more "pajama-esque," and these were perfect for making you feel "held in" and put together. Would highly recommend.
I’m always hesitant to buy leggings. I always tend to go cheap because I have a hard time believing reviews if they are see through or not. These def aren’t see through and they are so comfortable and thick enough that it smooths me out without getting hot
