If you’re Belly Bandit Belly Wrap is 1-3” shy of closing, don’t exchange it for a larger size, wait a day or two and try again. Here’s another tip, lying down on your bed with the Belly Wrap under you to fasten the Velcro allows for a better trip.
Yes, creases are normal. The Belly Wrap conforms to your body, making it easier for you to move comfortably and perform your daily activities. Much like a bandage, the appearance of your wrap will change due to normal wear, so you can expect to see creases and waviness. This will not affect the job of your wrap!
For best results, we recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately postpartum 24/7 (taking it off to shower) for a minimum 6-10 weeks. Of course, wear-time ultimately depends on your personal comfort level. Some women wear the wrap all day and night while others for only a few hours at a time. The goal is to get the support you need and to aid in recovery, so do what feels right for you!
*Postpartum swelling can make sizing your Belly Wrap challenging. Our Belly Wrap Extenders gives you up to 9 inches of additional adjustability, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing a Wrap that’s too small or just shy of closing!

Our SecureStretch™ fabric applies targeted compression, which may help:
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly but without any impact on breathing or circulation. (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your Belly Wrap, it may barely close—that's ok. You want to have the length of Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
For optimal results, we recommend wearing the Belly Bandit® Luxe Belly Wrap for a minimum of 6-10 weeks after delivery. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you’re breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post-delivery! For both c-section and vaginal deliveries please check with your healthcare provider for guidance based on your individual delivery especially if you’re experiencing any post-delivery or postpartum issues.
If you have any concerns about being “too late” for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features our Belly Bandit compression technology in tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

OUR BEST SELLER
Yes! The Luxe Belly Wrap is specifically designed to be worn during postpartum recovery. We recommend wearing your belly wrap as soon as you’re comfortable post-delivery and continuing to wear it for a period of 6-10 weeks, though many women find it beneficial to keep wearing their Belly Wrap long after this length of time. In fact, in some cultures, women continue belly binding for up to a year after giving birth.
The Luxe Belly Wrap offers the most targeted compression and support of all our wraps, and represents 10 years of innovation since the launch of the Original Belly Wrap. It offers more coverage, measuring at 11” in the front and 12” in the back, and it uses SecureStretch® performance fabric and Stayput® technology to minimize rolling and increase mobility. The Luxe Belly Wrap is ideal for women who want a discreet fit, maximum coverage, gentle compression, and core support—all in one belly wrap. The Original Belly Wrap is best suited for price-conscious moms with average-length torsos who prefer a simple, no-frills design.
The Luxe Belly Wrap is our tallest belly wrap, offering 11” of targeted compression panels in the front and 12” in the back. The B.F.F. Belly Wrap is better suited for women with short torsos and petite body types, with 8” of coverage in front and back. It’s covered with hypoallergenic and antimicrobial viscose from bamboo, making it a great option for women with sensitive skin.
Belly wraps and corsets can help your body through the postpartum recovery process by providing support to weakened muscles in your belly, waist, and hips. This extra support is especially important for women who are recovering from diastasis recti or who had a C-section delivery. The International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics has found that abdominal binders—also known as belly wraps—can be an effective, simple, non‐pharmacological option for relieving pain and distress after a C-section delivery. The slight compression not only supports recovering muscles, but also helps promote healthy blood flow, which can help reduce swelling and pain throughout the body.
Yes! The Luxe Belly Wrap has six body-contouring support panels to help support your core and back. The patented design helps ease back pain and encourage better posture, which is especially beneficial for breastfeeding moms.
The ideal time to measure for a belly wrap is during your eighth month of pregnancy. Start by measuring around your belly at the largest part. This will usually be around your belly button area. Then, input that number—along with the week of pregnancy you’re in—into the size estimator on our website to find out your ideal size.
The Luxe Belly Wrap is made with our most breathable technical fabric, making it the ideal wrap for exercise and active days. SecureStretch® performance fabric ensures your belly wrap is flexible enough to move with you, while our Stayput® technology minimizes rolling to keep your wrap securely in place.
Yes! The Luxe Belly Wrap is perfect for providing comfort and support after a C-section. In fact, many of our Luxe Belly Wrap five-star reviews come from women who purchased the Luxe Belly Wrap specifically to help them during their C-section recovery.
We recommend you wear your Belly Bandit Luxe Belly Wrap for a minimum of 6-10 weeks, though many women find it beneficial to continue wearing their Luxe Belly Wrap long after that period. If at any time you experience discomfort or difficulty breathing, remove the wrap immediately and consult your primary care physician.
Cultures all over the world practice belly binding as a way to give postpartum women the extra support their bodies need to properly heal and recover from pregnancy and childbirth. Belly Bandit’s Luxe Belly Wrap modernizes this age-old tradition by using targeted compression technology to support and stabilize the weakened muscles in your belly, waist, and hips. This promotes faster healing, encourages better posture, and helps lessen your postpartum discomfort.
Ten years of design learning and technical advancements went into the Belly Bandit Luxe Belly Wrap, because we wanted to create a belly wrap to support every lifestyle. With six panels of breathable, SecureStretch® performance fabric and five levels of targeted compression, the Luxe Belly Wrap has all the best features of Belly Bandit’s belly wraps rolled into one amazing design.
The patented design of the Belly Bandit Luxe Belly Wrap combines all the support and compression of our Original Belly Wrap with the custom shaping and smoothing benefits of a shapewear corset. Made of ultra-thin, breathable materials, the Luxe Belly Wrap is invisible under clothing to help give you the support you need and the confidence you deserve.
You can start wearing a postpartum belly wrap immediately after giving birth. Ideally, you wear the belly wrap for a minimum of 6-10 weeks after delivery for about 10-12 hours per day. However, this certainly does not mean you can’t wear your belly wrap longer than the initial period. Many women find the belly wrap to be effective long after the initial period, especially breastfeeding mamas. Breastfeeding women may have the hormone relaxin in their system longer which can present an opportunity to benefit from the belly wrap longer. As always, we advise you check with your OB/GYN first for recommendations specific to you.
Belly wraps can be worn for extended periods during the day and some women even choose to wear theirs all day. The Belly Bandit Luxe Belly Wrap is definitely the most comfortable and adjustable within the Belly Wraps collection. The only real reason to take it off is when you shower. For questions specific to your recovery please check with your OB/GYN to see what they recommend.
A belly wrap after pregnancy is not mandatory, but highly recommended by most. Postpartum belly wraps can help muscles recover. For women recovering from c-sections, a belly wrap can be even more beneficial. Belly wrapping can provide the following benefits:
Compresses and support your belly, waist and hips
Helps strengthen core muscles weakened during -pregnancy (especially helpful if you have an -abdominal separation, also called diastasis recti)
Promote mobility, helping you get back to your daily activities more quickly
Helps ease back pain
Encourage better posture, especially important during breastfeeding
Provides comfort after C-section
The Belly Bandit Luxe Belly Wrap is perfectly safe to sleep in. Some mamas struggle to find comfort, especially after a c-section, resulting in sleepless nights. Any new or veteran moms planning on wearing a belly wrap should order a Belly Bandit Belly Wrap. From the ability to choose different styles, heights of wraps to their incomparable support and comfort, they are made for moms by moms.
Belly wraps are beneficial postpartum, especially after a Cesarean Section. They offer support for abdominal muscles and can help with lower back pain posture, and support. Muscles can be torn during pregnancy and may need help recovering. As a result of the trauma, you may experience discomfort. A belly wrap can aid in your recovery.
Postpartum belly wraps offer several benefits including:
I use this every day. The only complaint I have is that the top folds up and rubs my skin. I haven't found a way to resolve this.
This is my first pregnancy and it is my first time purchasing the belly wrap. I am very happy with the product. My waist line is back to its original shape thanks to the belly wrap. It is also super comfortable to wear all day at home. I am very pleased with the purchase.
Bought this for my third pregnancy and this is the best belly wrap I’ve ever owned. It breathes and doesn’t make me sweaty, it’s soft and comfortable to wear all day, and doesn’t feel bulky underneath clothing. I have been wearing since 4 days postpartum and I’m now 2 weeks postpartum and notice a huge difference. I did buy the extender and used it for maybe 3 days until I was able to close the belly wrap without it. Worth the money!
Comfortable yet structure is great so that I’m able to stay mobile and wear all day. I’ve been wearing since 5 weeks postpartum and I’m now 8 - drastic difference in my tummy.
I’ve owned this brace for over 10 weeks love it but the Velcro is getting lose, I still use it but it takes a lot of time to get it to stick. Other than that the fabric is really nice and comfortable
