Absolutely — especially if they’re postpartum compression shorts like the Belly Bandit Biker Shorts. These shorts provide amazing support to your belly, hips, and waist after having a baby and will keep you feeling comfortable and confident during your recovery period.

When should I start wearing these postpartum shorts?

As soon as you feel ready! A lot of women begin wearing supportive postpartum shorts just a day or two after delivery to help with mobility and comfort. As always, feel free to check with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about compression clothing after delivery.

Do these biker shorts provide compression?

YES. These postpartum shorts are part of our Mother Tucker line, and they provide 360° of powerful compression. They engage your core to help with weakened ab muscles and utilize our Muffinology technology to smooth your hips and waist.

Are these biker shorts breathable?

Definitely. The Belly Bandit Biker Shorts are made from a seamless, breathable knit so you stay cool and comfortable no matter what.

We definitely recommend postpartum compression shorts after a C-section. Compression helps keep your tummy securely in place and can promote healthy circulation — all while keeping your incision site safe and protected.

How comfortable are these postpartum shorts?

Our Biker Shorts are the best postpartum shorts, because they’re so comfortable. The seamless fabric feels like a second skin, while the compressive waist keeps you feeling tucked in and secure.

How do I know which size I need to buy?

To get the most accurate size, we recommend measuring your hips and waist, and using our sizing guide. If you’re currently pregnant, buy one size up from your pre-pregnancy size. These postpartum shorts come in sizes XS to XL.

Can I wear these biker shorts during pregnancy?

No. It is not recommended to wear clothing that compresses your belly during pregnancy, so these postpartum shorts work best for after delivery.

If you’re hoping to have comfy biker shorts during pregnancy, try our Thighs Disguise Maternity Support Shorts.

Love these!

I do love these shorts for my post partum body. Only downside is that the top folds down which gets annoying. But I deal with it because I love the compression and they don’t ride up.

Best shorts for postpartum

Okay so being that’s it’s 100 degrees outside and I need my legs to see some sunshine I definitely needed a decent pair of shorts. These exceeded my expectations! They don’t ride up and the they slim down your waist to wear I feel confident again. Love these shorts

What every postpartum mom needs

These are fantastic- they compress and hold you in everywhere you want them to (belly, butt) and not where you don’t (thigh seam, waist band). I wear them *almost* everyday.

Not what I had hoped

I’m not sure if it’s just my body type, like I might have a short torso, but the fit is kind of weird. If I pull them all the way up to fit my legs/crotch the torso area goes all the way up passed my boobs. Which totally defeats the purpose of being sculpting/shape wear like. The banding goes up above my little belly pooch and makes it look like it sticks out more. I tried pulling them down so that all of the banding/sculpting is where it should be and it rolls down a bunch at the top and feels awkward and bunched through the middle. I don’t know if I need a different size or if they’re just not for me but I was pretty let down.

I mean they’re comfy and feel supportive don’t get me wrong, but I feel like they don’t deliver on everything.
