I bought this while I was still pregnant, while not really knowing what size I truly needed. I have a short torso. (5' 1 - 130 lbs pre-pregnancy) depending on pants I usually wear a size 4 to a size 6 in jeans, small in yoga pants, so I ordered a size small. I am 1 month pp, and the small is about 5 inches to small. I can close the top clasp and the bottom clasp but can't come close to the middle. I am going to order a medium and keep the small for a goal size :-)
I would say it is true to size and if you are considering getting this before you have the baby and are between sizes I would suggest going a size up due to pp swelling. I love the black and lace and it will be nice to have while breastfeeding for some coverage.
I bought this corset to wear for compression and for slimming around a month after my c section. I had Diastasis Recti after my firstborn, and my tummy never went away. I did some reading on compression with bands/corsets, so I decided to give this a try after my second delivery.
This corset has done exactly what I had hoped, and more. My stomach is already flatter than it was after my firstborn’s natural delivery. So relieved there are natural, non surgical options out there!
The mesh corset is beautiful in person and I love the high back. I’m 5’7 and 208lbs and the XL fit at the last row so I have a long way to get to the first row (tightest). Im new at this so I only wear it for a few hours at a time because it does compress and I’m not use to it yet. But I love it!
The corset gives good compression, but the flexible boning leaves you looking rounder in places that you aren't.
