I really wanted to like this band, and it does offer good support if you can keep it in place. It kept rolling up on me and was also incredibly warm to wear. If you don't like tight things on your stomach, I wouldn't recommend this. I'd get the under belly band instead, which I loved!
This has been a game changer for me! I was having such ridiculous lower back pain, and the Belly Boost band has helped ease my discomfort significantly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because, as a shorter woman, the overall length could be about one inch smaller for my own personal preference.
I wanted to love this product, however, I don’t think it’s made for mamas that are carrying really low. Unfortunately, with how I’m carrying - low little basketball -this put a lot of pressure on my bump instead of providing the support I was looking for. For context - I’m 5’2 and 140lbs (pre-pregnancy size 2 or 4) I ordered a small and it was very tight on the bump while being bagging and too large around my rip/upper abdomen area. Granted, I’m short and have a shorter torso- so this may work for taller ladies!
This undergarment gets 5 stars for keeping topicals on where you want them! 6 hours after wear, my bump was still hydrated with cream! I also loved the slight support you get with this garment and it helps smooth the appearance of your bump (for me, the shadow from my belly button is at a weird stage that it looks ginormous through shirts).
Cons (and only thing I did not like): the bottom band of the garment fits very snug (given it helps provide slight support) which causes it to roll up and need to be adjusted. I didn’t mind it as much when I was running errands, but wearing it around the house was annoying and not comfortable as I noticed it more. Maybe as my bump gets bigger it will fit differently? (Currently 23 weeks, but the way I carry my bump looks similar to the model shown above).
Next purchase, I will try the one that has shorts attached.
