Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap
Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap
Over a decade ago, we introduced our doctor-recommended Belly Bandit® Belly Wraps to help slim and your support your belly, waist and hips post-delivery. We were inspired by the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding and modernized this age-old practice for today's moms.
Our world famous Belly Wraps are designed to help you look and feel your absolute best after delivery – because when you deliver, so do we!
Our Power Compress Core™ applies targeted compression, which may help:
- Slim and support your belly, waist, and hips
- Strengthen core muscles weakened during pregnancy (especially helpful if you have an abdominal separation, also called diastasis recti)
- Promote mobility, helping you get back to your daily activities more quickly
- Ease back pain
- Provide comfort after C-section
- Encourage better posture, especially important during breastfeeding
- Offer support while exercising
Soft viscose from bamboo is ultra-comfortable on your skin, and gentle on a recovering C-section incision
- Covered in ultra-soft viscose from bamboo fabric
- Features our exclusive, latex-free Power Compress Core™
- Up to 9" of adjustability so you can continue to tighten the wrap as you size down
For optimal results, we recommend wearing the Belly Bandit® Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap for a minimum of 6-10 weeks after delivery.
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.

Finding Your Size
To ensure the most accurate sizing, we do not advise sizing earlier than the 8th month. Please note, every “body” is different and determining your postpartum Belly Wrap size is not an exact science.
I’m waiting for my babies birth to use my belly bandit
Didn’t get my item
I like the band just a little frustrated with the fit. I have a smaller waist and wider hips (hourglass figure) so the band is always riding up with space between my skin and the band going upward and into my bra. I keep trying to wrap in different positions but uncomfortable when I sit. Going to keep trying to find the best solution. Maybe I ordered the wrong wrap for my body shape??
This is my 2nd time using these products. While I still love this wrap I found that this wrap with the extender is uncomfortable and so I would recommend just ordering two sizes if you wish to go that route or order the Luxe wrap instead (more comfortable and great with the extender). My previous pregnancy I had to order a size large but found after only a few weeks (2-3) that It no longer fit. At that time I didn't bother ordering another. So when I measured a size medium this time and was only 3 inches above a size small I opted to order the size small and buy the extender. I used my large for the first 2-2.5weeks because of excess bloating with a c-section. I was then able to size down to the small with the extender. However, I found this to just not be very comfortable for me. (just where the velcro section sat on me and this created some rolling I didn't have when wearing the band without the extender.) So I don't recommend using the extender with this wrap. Just order the suggested size. And buy the next size up or down if you are right on the board of sizing as your size will adjust quickly. I was 207 at delivery (I am 5'8) and at 3 weeks am down to 198lbs and was able to put on and close my size 11 (29/30) non pregnancy pants today. (I can't sit down in them but give me another week) Prior to getting pregnant I was a size 8.
This was my fav wrap I've tried (and I've tried several through 3 pregnancies!) I love that it's sized to fit and doesn't have a long tail (so it's hidden and sleek under a shirt) plus it's super comfy and soft so I can wear it a lot in the beginning and for exercise. I even found it helped flatten my tummy within 30 min. So if I was going swimming. I would wear it that morning and then feel more confident in the pool later :)
