Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap
Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap
Over a decade ago, we introduced our doctor-recommended Belly Bandit® Belly Wraps to help slim and your support your belly, waist and hips post-delivery. We were inspired by the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding and modernized this age-old practice for today's moms.
Our world famous Belly Wraps are designed to help you look and feel your absolute best after delivery – because when you deliver, so do we!
*Belly Bandit® is the premiere FDA Registered Medical Device brand in Maternity Support Products and Postpartum Belly Wraps and Corsets.
Our Power Compress Core™ applies targeted compression, which may help:
- Slim and support your belly, waist, and hips
- Strengthen core muscles weakened during pregnancy (especially helpful if you have an abdominal separation, also called diastasis recti)
- Promote mobility, helping you get back to your daily activities more quickly
- Ease back pain
- Encourage better posture, especially important during breastfeeding
- Offer support while exercising
- Provide comfort after C-section
- The International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics has found that abdominal binders can be an effective, simple, non‐pharmacological option of relieving pain and distress after a Cesarean delivery.
Soft viscose from bamboo is ultra-comfortable on your skin, and gentle on a recovering C-section incision
- Covered in ultra-soft viscose from bamboo fabric
- Features our exclusive, latex-free Power Compress Core™
- Up to 9" of adjustability so you can continue to tighten the wrap as you size down
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
We recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately post-delivery, for a minimum of 6-10 weeks. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you're breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post delivery!
If you have any concerns about being "too late" for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features compression tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

Finding Your Size
Please note, every “body” is different and determining your postpartum Belly Wrap size is not an exact science. Measure around your belly at the largest part, which is usually around the belly button. In the sizing calculator, select your week of pregnancy and belly measurement. The calculator will generate a recommended size.
Comfortable and sturdy. Love how much flatter my belly is after such a short time.
So it sort of worked in shrinking me up but this was my ex one one to replace one I only wire for two weeks cause it folded soo much. They told me to order a smaller one which I had to pay for again and it did the exact same thing so couldn’t wear under clothes. Kind of just wanted my money
I'm 5'2" with a short torso. I had to return this belly band as it was too long for me to wear comfortably. The material was nice and smooth and velcro was strong as I do wish it had fit well.
The BFF was created for shorter women and/or women with shorter torso's. Hopefully this information is helpful if you'd like to try that one!
I love this wrap! I have used it with 2 pregnancies now, and it helps not only with support post pregnancy, but if you have bad ab separation like I do, this is a must have.
I felt like this runs a bit small. I was advised to order the large but I’m regretting that decision. It’s just too tight and barely reaches. Yes I’ll need an extender but I wish I didn’t have to spend more. That all said. I like how stiff this is and it has one hell of strong hold. Looking forward to seeing what this can do for me. I love you belly bandit!!
