If you’re Belly Bandit Belly Wrap is 1-3” shy of closing, don’t exchange it for a larger size, wait a day or two and try again. Here’s another tip, lying down on your bed with the Belly Wrap under you to fasten the Velcro allows for a better trip.
Yes, creases are normal. The Belly Wrap conforms to your body, making it easier for you to move comfortably and perform your daily activities. Much like a bandage, the appearance of your wrap will change due to normal wear, so you can expect to see creases and waviness. This will not affect the job of your wrap!
For best results, we recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately postpartum 24/7 (taking it off to shower) for a minimum 6-10 weeks. Of course, wear-time ultimately depends on your personal comfort level. Some women wear the wrap all day and night while others for only a few hours at a time. The goal is to get the support you need and to aid in recovery, so do what feels right for you!
*Postpartum swelling can make sizing your Belly Wrap challenging. Our Belly Wrap Extenders gives you up to 9 inches of additional adjustability, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing a Wrap that’s too small or just shy of closing!

Over a decade ago, we introduced our doctor-recommended Belly Bandit® Belly Wraps to help slim and your support your belly, waist and hips post-delivery. We were inspired by the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding and modernized this age-old practice for today's moms.
Our world famous Belly Wraps are designed to help you look and feel your absolute best after delivery – because when you deliver, so do we!
*Belly Bandit® is the premiere FDA Registered Medical Device brand in Maternity Support Products and Postpartum Belly Wraps and Corsets.
The International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics has found that abdominal binders can be an effective, simple, non‐pharmacological option of relieving pain and distress after a Cesarean delivery.

The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation. (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
We recommend wearing your Belly Wrap post-delivery as soon as your comfortable, for a minimum of 6-10 weeks. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you're breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post-delivery!
For both c-section and vaginal deliveries please check with your healthcare provider for guidance based on your individual delivery especially if you’re experiencing any post-delivery or postpartum issues.
If you have any concerns about being "too late" for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features our Belly Bandit compression technology in tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

The Belly Bandit B.F.F. Postpartum Belly Wrap is designed to promote healing and give extra support where you need it most. Using our Power Compress Core™ to apply targeted compression to your belly, waist, and hips, the B.F.F. Wrap encourages healthy blood flow throughout your body while stabilizing key muscle groups weakened during pregnancy. Featuring six support panels and two tab closures, this corset-inspired wrap is easily adjustable so you can customize the compression levels for a true body-formulated fit.
The B.F.F. Wrap is the best postpartum belly wrap for moms who want a more personalized fit. Its unique two-tab closure provides an added level of customization, so no matter how far you are into your postpartum recovery, you can always find a comfortable level of compression. The Belly Bandit B.F.F. Wrap is the shortest of our Belly Wraps and is best suited for moms with short-waisted figures and more petite frames.
The B.F.F. wrap is not intended to be worn during pregnancy, only during postpartum recovery. Remember: You should never wear anything that compresses your belly while pregnant.
We recommend you begin wearing your B.F.F. Postpartum Belly Wrap as soon as possible after delivery—that might be a matter of days or weeks, depending on your specific situation and your care provider’s recommendation. Make sure your Belly Wrap is snug but comfortable, and does not restrict your breathing or circulation. You should continue wearing your B.F.F. Belly Wrap as much as possible (some moms wear it 24/7, except when showering!) for a minimum of 6-10 weeks, though many women find it beneficial to continue wearing their Belly Wrap long after this period. If you experience any pain or discomfort while wearing your B.F.F. Belly Wrap, remove it immediately and consult your physician.
Yes! The Belly Bandit B.F.F. Postpartum Belly Wrap is designed with up to 9 inches of adjustability so you can maintain a consistent level of compression as you size down. For additional coverage and sizing flexibility, try our Belly Wrap Extenders.
Sizing is easy! Just use our Belly Wrap calculator. Start by measuring the widest part of your belly; this is usually at or around the belly button. Next, enter that measurement into our online Belly Wrap calculator to find out which size is best for you.
No; the B.F.F. Postpartum Belly Wrap features our exclusive, latex-free Power Compress Core™.
The B.F.F. Wrap is covered in silky-soft viscose from bamboo that is gentle on sensitive skin and healing incisions. Hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, the fabric of this wrap is best washed in cold water and then laid flat to dry.
Not sure if the Belly Bandit B.F.F. Wrap is right for you? Check out how it compares to our other Belly Wraps. B.F.F. vs. Luxe Belly Wrap The Luxe Belly Wrap is the tallest Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, measuring 11” in the front and 12” in the back. An all-in-one wrap made out of breathable, SecureStretch® performance fabric, the Luxe Belly Wrap is ideal for active moms with average to long torsos. In contrast, the B.F.F. Belly Wrap is 8” tall, making it a better fit for women with shorter torsos and petite body types. Belly Bandit Original vs. B.F.F. The Belly Bandit Original Belly Wrap is the no-frills, classic belly wrap that started it all. More budget-friendly than the B.F.F. Wrap, the Original Belly Wrap features our exclusive, latex-free Power Compress Core™ and is slightly taller than the B.F.F. Wrap, making it more suited for average-length torsos. Belly Bandit B.F.F. vs. Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap The Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap combines the classic design of the Original Belly Wrap with an ultra-soft fabric covering. Gentle on C-section incisions and sensitive skin, the Viscose from Bamboo Belly Wrap is 9” tall, so those with average-length torsos can get the fit and support they need, along with some added comfort.
It may. The B.F.F. Wrap utilizes our patented Power Compress Core™ to apply targeted compression to your belly, waist, and hips. The extra support it provides to weakened muscles in your core and lower back can help ease overall pain, aches, and discomfort.
this upsie belly support band has been so helpful to support my growing bump while running errands or doing chores around the house. Couldn’t recommend more!
I had the viscose bamboo wrap from my first pregnancy, which was perfect for recovering from a c-section. This time around I decided to try the BFF wrap and I'm so glad I did! It was perfect for alternating with the viscose wrap for more compression and support for a fast recovery. You can see it under clothes, but it provides just the right fit with the 2 adjustable straps. Not as comfortable as the viscose when sitting, but great support when walking around.
I used upsie belly support band during most exercises which was like a sports bra for my pregnant belly, helped give the support I needed, then right after birth used the BFF belly wrap, which provided soo much support post birth when it feels like your organs are falling out. Then when my waist got small enough I needed another wrap I graduated to the mother tucker corset until 3 months postpartum and the best part, all of these wraps and shape wear has lasted 3 pregnancies and babies postpartum!
The belly band fit perfectly and really helped my baby bump go away during the four weeks that I wore it. I have extremely sensitive skin and started feeling a lot of irritation and itching on my lower back, especially where the band started to bend. I am considering ordering the luxe wrap because I read that the fabric bends and folds are to be expected. I ordered a Med and don’t think I need an expander. I wore the band all day except for when showering so maybe I should wear it for shorter spurts each day. At four weeks post-partum, I haven’t worn it for two days and worry that my waist is expanding again. Any advice for how to comfortably wear this for 6-8 weeks as advised.
I love my belly band! I am 2 weeks post partum and my tummy has gone down significantly and I believe it’s because of my belly band! Totally worth buying, I also suggest getting the extender to help in the beginning
