Pregnancy comes with a lot of changes… but the change no one warned you about? Leaks! From extra pressure causing bladder leaks during pregnancy to postpartum bleeding that can last for weeks (and weeks!) - we’ve got Proof!
Proof leak protective undies are designed with multiple layers of absorbent lining to pull moisture away from the body, helping you to feel fresh and dry. Move-with-you fabric accommodates for a growing bump during pregnancy, and Leak-Loc™ edges seal in postpartum bleeding after delivery.
Ditch the mesh hospital underwear for postpartum recovery! Proof undies look like your favorite pairs of regular underwear but feature built-in discreet protection to help keep you dry, confident, and comfortable… because your baby should be the only one leaving the hospital in diapers.
MACHINE WASH COLD
Proof undies have strong protection, but should be washed gently. Machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, using gentle detergents. To sanitize and refresh, use a few drops of tea tree oil or vinegar in the rinse cycle of your washing machine. Hand washing in cold water works, too!
DO NOT USE
Do not use hot water, harsh detergents, softeners, or bleach when washing as these may compromise the Leak-Loc™ technology.
HANG UNTIL DRY
Once finished washing, hang or lay flat to dry. Depending on absorbency level, Proof’s multilayered technology can take between 6-24 hours to dry. To dry more quickly, blot any excess moisture and hang dry.
The leak proof thong is specifically designed to feel just like your regular underwear, but with the extra features you need to confidently handle pregnancy leaks and postpartum bleeding. With multiple layers of absorbent lining and our patented Leak-Loc™ technology, this maternity thong can easily absorb up to two teaspoons of liquid to keep you feeling fresh and dry all day long.
One of the most common pregnancy symptoms is bladder incontinence—small leaks caused by a growing uterus putting extra pressure on your bladder. Women experiencing bladder incontinence need something much more absorbent than regular underwear to help get them through the day. That’s where Proof’s maternity leak proof thong comes in. Say goodbye to panty liners and invest in a pair of leak proof underwear that is specially designed to absorb the extra liquid so you can keep up with your normal routine without a wardrobe change.
The main difference between a regular thong and a leakproof thong is the level of absorbency. Regular thongs have only one layer of fabric, whereas leakproof thongs are designed with multiple layers of highly absorbent fabric so they can hold more liquid and keep you feeling fresher longer.
Not at all! It’s all about your personal preference and what style of underwear feels most comfortable for you. Make sure you are wearing a maternity thong with comfortable fabric designed to stretch and move with you as your belly grows. Remember: You want to avoid wearing anything that applies extra pressure or compression to your belly during your pregnancy.
Whenever you would like! You can start wearing the Proof thong as soon as you have your first leak, or way before you ever experience any signs of bladder incontinence.
You can start wearing your leakproof thong at any point during your postpartum recovery. Some moms like to wear their Proof thong on the way out of the hospital, while others prefer to wait until the bleeding has slowed to a lighter level. Wear your Proof thong as soon as it feels comfortable for you! Just keep in mind that it is designed to hold one tampon’s worth of liquid, or about two teaspoons, so you may need to change your leakproof thong more regularly if you start wearing it while you are still experiencing heavy bleeding.
Yes! The Proof thong is designed to pull moisture away from your body to keep you dry and fresh while also helping reduce odor. We recommend washing your maternity thong underwear with a few drops of tea tree oil or vinegar to help sanitize and refresh it so no odors linger post-wash.
Absolutely! This leak proof thong can be worn before, during, and after pregnancy for extra protection against bladder leaks and incontinence.
Yes! The leak proof thong can help you manage postpartum bleeding more comfortably.
There are two things you should look for in a maternity and postpartum thong: absorbency and comfort. The best thong will fit comfortably and also be able to absorb more liquid than regular thongs. This will help you confidently manage both pregnancy bladder leaks and postpartum bleeding.
Like others stated these run a tad big so I got an XS instead of a S and they fit great. Love the material, very comfy.
Perfect for spotting. So tired of liners. Its so nice to wear the nude color with light colored clothing and not worry. Two thumbs up!
Being pregnant with baby #2 I have struggled with bladder leaks. I am no longer afraid to sneeze or laugh at work. I recently purchased the proof thong and I am so glad I did. It is absorbent but so comfortable, and no panty lines is a bonus!! I wish I would have bought them sooner
Great panties! I have two pairs on the thongs and 28 weeks pregnant. Keeps the leaks to myself!
