Original Belly Wrap
Original Belly Wrap
Over a decade ago, we introduced our doctor-recommended Belly Bandit® Belly Wraps to help slim and support your belly, waist and hips post-delivery. We were inspired by the centuries-old tradition of postpartum belly binding and modernized this age-old practice for today's moms
Our world famous Belly Wraps are designed to help you look and feel your absolute best after delivery – because when you deliver, so do we!
Our Power Compress Core™ applies targeted compression, which may help:
- Slim and support your belly, waist, and hips
- Strengthen core muscles weakened during pregnancy (especially helpful if you have an abdominal separation, also called diastasis recti)
- Promote mobility, helping you get back to your daily activities more quickly
- Ease back pain
- Provide comfort after C-section
- Encourage better posture, especially important during breastfeeding
- Offer support while exercising
- Features our exclusive, latex-free Power Compress Core™
- Up to 9" of adjustability so you can continue to tighten the wrap as you size down
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation. (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
We recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately post-delivery, for a minimum of 6-10 weeks. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you're breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post delivery!
If you have any concerns about being "too late" for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features compression tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

Finding Your Size
To ensure the most accurate sizing, we do not advise sizing earlier than the 8th month. Please note, every “body” is different and determining your postpartum Belly Wrap size is not an exact science.
I’ve been wearing mine for a few hours everyday since it’s all I can take at the moment (it’s not the most comfortable). I started wearing it 4 days postpartum. I hope to see results from it in the weeks and months to come.
The Original Belly Wrap does what it is supposed to do. I’m currently 3 months postpartum and my baby pouch is almost gone. However, I don’t like that it puckers so much. I also have a short torso and have to pull it down around my hips. I think it’s too late to return or exchange it so I’ll just tough it out I guess.
Love my belly wrap. Was skeptical in ordering as some women complained the sizing was incorrect. It was a big snug on my first wear but after a day or so, it fits like a glove! It’s definitely helping in slimming down my PP body and I’m currently 5 weeks PP.
I bought this for my postpartum recover and have not yet got to use it yet. I have noticed that it is great quality material and I can’t wait to try it out. I would love to do another review in a couple weeks after I have my baby. Thanks!
I read reviews before purchasing and saw how a lot of women said it rolls up in the back. I now know what they mean. I think it’s bc if your a little hippy it creases and rolls up on the sides and back which is frustrating when you have to keep pulling it down. I probably wouldn’t suggest it if you have a figure. I wish I wouldn’t have bought it. I’m 5’4” 190 postpartum and I have hips.
