Our patented Luxe Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap was 10 years in the making and worth the wait! We have combined the best features of our wraps and corsets to create an incredible, form-fitting wrap that provides the ultimate in targeted postpartum compression and support. Ultra-thin, breathable, invisible under clothes and designed with our Stayput™ technology and SecureStretch™ fabric, this wrap has it all!
*Belly Bandit® is the premiere FDA Registered Medical Device brand in Maternity Support Products and Postpartum Belly Wraps and Corsets.
Our SecureStretch™ fabric applies targeted compression, which may help:
- Compress and support your belly, waist and hips
- Strengthen core muscles weakened during pregnancy (especially helpful if you have an abdominal separation, also called diastasis recti)
- Promote mobility, helping you get back to your daily activities more quickly
- Ease back pain
- Provide comfort after C-section
- Encourage better posture, especially important during breastfeeding
- Patented design features 5 levels of targeted compression for the perfect cinch
- Stayput™ Technology keeps wrap in place
- Our tallest wrap for complete belly coverage
- 11” tall in the front and 12” in the back
- Body contouring panels for core and back support
- Dual closures made of bonded microfiber for maximum adjustability
- Arched design helps minimize back bulge
- Fits 10” Luxe Belly Wrap Extender
The ideal fit for your Belly Bandit® Belly Wrap is a snug one, with constant pressure on the belly - but without any impact on breathing or circulation. (If discomfort occurs, remove the wrap and consult your healthcare provider.)
Note: The first time you wear your wrap, it may barely close. That's ok. You want to have the length of the Velcro® closure available so you can keep tightening your wrap as you recover and size down.
WHEN TO WEAR
We recommend wearing your Belly Wrap immediately post-delivery, for a minimum of 6-10 weeks. However, many women find wrapping to be effective long after this initial period. If you're breastfeeding, the hormone relaxin may stay in your system longer, giving you even more time to benefit from postpartum compression. Some cultures bind up to a year post delivery!
If you have any concerns about being "too late" for the Belly Bandit Belly Wrap, we encourage you to check out our Mother Tucker® Shapewear Collection. The Mother Tucker line features compression tanks, leggings, shorts, and our popular Mother Tucker Corset.

Finding Your Size
Please note, every “body” is different and determining your postpartum Belly Wrap size is not an exact science. Measure around your belly at the largest part, which is usually around the belly button. In the sizing calculator, select your week of pregnancy and belly measurement. The calculator will generate a recommended size.
1 week postpartum versus about 3 months post partum after using the Luxe wrap (and technically I’ve actually gained weight since the first picture!) This is a small and initially, I could barely close the wrap. Now I use over half the Velcro and intend for it to keep tightening.
This is the perfect crossover between a wrap and a corset. The wrap aspect allows me to tighten my postpartum core, while the corset and wiring provides smooth and sleek coverage under clothing. The wiring also prompts me to sit up straighter and correct my posture, which is especially important when frequently tempted to slouch with breastfeeding. I am 5’ 5” with an average torso and longer legs. This fit just fine and wasn’t too long or too short. I’m excited to use this even sooner with my next pregnancy, and will definitely keep it as an option.
Luxe Belly Wrap
This was my second pregnancy. I stated wearing the luxe belly wrap (L) with the extender on day 3 postpartum. Within 4 days I no longer needed the extender. And after 2 weeks I actually ended up purchasing another one in size medium because I was already running out of Velcro to adjust it. I don’t know if that’s common, but I was so pleased!
My first pregnancy I had purchased the B.F.F. belly wrap as well as an off brand one from amazon because it went further down on the hips. Neither of those worked nearly as good as the Luxe belly wrap. I’m so glad I went with this one!
P.S. I have found that the best way to avoid it sliding or rolling while you’re wearing it is to wear it under your clothes. Even better if you wear leggings or tighter pants over it.
After having a c-section, this product has been a great support day and night while healing. It’s also great for some of the pain associated with surgery. Love it!
Mom of 4 here... I've done it all and worn it all. 4 Pregnancies, both Vag and C section. I've worn all the "big name" wraps and "no name" knock offs over the years. I was wooed over to Belly Bandit after straying from the big competition who left me with wierd lines where it dug into my thighs. I splurged on this one.
Why I'm rating it poorly:
While the back smoothing is successful, note the dip in the front. With weaker abs and even a single ounce of belly fat, you will get a "second set of boobs" that bulge and overhang the front, especially while sitting.
The core design flaw is wrap is too short, and the dip in the front shouldn't be there. At 5'3", I in no way have a long torso.
If you have a c section, you must decide between supporting your incision (but unsightly "second boobs" or hiking it up a bit to avoid the bulge, but then having excruciating discomfort and spilling out on the bottom section of the wrap at your incision with an exaggerated 'c section shelf'
The sizing chart was accurate (I got a Small 2 weeks post partum after wearing a classic BB in medium). It was refreshing to get the right size in the mail on the first try. The compression is firm as advertised and the velcro sits nice and flat.
Despite quality materials, the price tag is too steep to have such unsightly bulges at your chosen point. Save half the cost and stick with the classic BB.
