S.O.S. Side Sleeper Pregnancy Wedge Pillow

As someone who has experienced multiple miscarriages, I've done my research and know how important sleeping on your left side can be for a healthy pregnancy outcome. Prior to pregnancy I was a back-sleeper, so I was on the hunt for a pillow that would keep me in place in my new sleep position. I am so happy to have found this! As one other review mentioned, I do find that I still sometimes roll onto my back, but the firmness of the pillow awakens me enough that I am aware of what's happened and can immediately readjust. The belly wedge provides great support for my expanding belly and the velcro strap keeps both pieces in place well night after night. Yes, this is more expensive than other pillows out there, but it's definitely worth the price! I love the peace of mind I get from knowing I'm sleeping safely.

I am 71 years old. If I flip on my back in the night, my oxygen levels drop dangerously low. A C-pap won’t work for me.

The belly bandit makes it possible for me to maintain a side sleeping position, provided I pad my belly area enough to make up for a baby bump.

I am experiencing more energy now, after adjusting to the use of this pillow. My brain is more alert, and I have more energy during the day.

I found the back support the most comforting aspect of this pillow. Firm without being stiff. For some reason I really don’t like anything pushing against my belly when I sleep - but I think I’m in the minority here. The real downfall for me was that I turn from side to side throughout the night. This required me to then also move the pillow because it is asymmetrical. I found this to be more trouble than helpful and ultimately ended up just using a standard, straight body pillow. But I can see how this would be a nice option for a lot of people. I had no complaints about the Velcro.

I would like to try it

My daughter is pregnant with twins and was having a lot of back discomfort and this pillow has really helped her get a better night sleep!
